 Asleep on the Beach There is something both peaceful and soulful in this picture of someone asleep on the beach at dusk. Almost unseen among bags, blankets and other items, the prone figure is alone, surrounded by open space in every direction. At first I thought it was simply a pile of possessions temporarily marking the spot where sunbathers had earlier lain. A closer look reveals more. | |
