![]() Watching the Waves Roll In One of life's little pleasures when living next to the ocean is watching the waves roll in. The relentless power and beauty of the ocean is mesmerizing. In this photo I caught a wave completely rolling in on itself at the little beach below Makapu'u Point. I was looking into the sunlight, so the wave is lit from the back side and the colors are muted. (Inexplicably, I had my camera set at ISO 400 with all the light in the world. Go figure.)
