Topography I

When returning home earlier this week part of my trip included a flight from Chicago, passing over Colorado and Nevada, to San Francisco. During the flight I had an opportunity to make some photos of the Great Plains, Rocky Mountains, and the Pacific coast. This weekend I will be posting a series of shots made in the air. They will be posted in sequence from East to West.

It was difficult to make some of these photos because of atmospheric conditions and the fact that they were shot through a multi-paned airplane window. However, some of them came out well enough to post. I hope you enjoy the series as much as I enjoyed capturing it. I have added a gallery, Topography Series to make it easy to view when the photos are all posted.

Topography I was made somewhere over the Great Plains.
