 The Ko'olau Mountain Range as Seen from the Pali Before I get too far into the macro shots I think I should give you an idea of the landscape visible from the Pali area where I was hiking Sunday. This image is looking northwest at approximately 9:00AM. Although it was sunny at the time, I got caught in a shower on the return trip. The area is quite lush and receives a good deal of rain as the clouds tend to hang along the ridge. Koneohe is the town in the distance. Honolulu is on the other side of the range (back over my left shoulder as I make this shot). ISO 100, 1/2500s, f//5.0, 18mm of 18-55mm | |
