![]() Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden VI This triptych shows the bark of the sealing wax palm tree. The colors have not been enhanced for this photo - they are actually this bright. One of them also has a portion of the green palm frond showing. That too is a rich color. As with so many tropical plants, this tree was growing in the shade of other, larger trees.
