![]() Lava Wall and Bench Initially, I was drawn to this image by the texture of the lava rock wall. After looking at it on my hard drive off and on for a week I decided to convert the wall to black and white and let that form the backdrop for the bench and grass. By the time I was finished 'playing' with gradients and color filters in this image the composition and contrasting tones and colors most interested me. Sometimes its just fun to manipulate an image.
