![]() Floating Blossoms These flowers fell from a tree full of similar blossoms, into a small side pond at the Byodo-In Temple. A caretaker using a long pole attached to a net cleared many of the blossoms out of the pond to permit water to flow from the pond to its destination beyond. These blossoms managed to escape his net and floated peacefully on the water's surface. Beneath the surface of the water the subtle form of submerged stones can be seen in a few places.
