![]() Natural Fireworks A couple of weeks ago, while walking home after an evening of beach photos, I passed a festival in one of Waikiki's parks. A stage show was in progress, complete with spot lights and other gear. I noticed how much the palm trees looked like natural fireworks because of the bright multi-colored lights filling the sky. I stopped long enough to make a few photos. It's a bit garrish, but this is the best of the images under difficult lighting conditions. If you look closely, in the lower right hand corner you can see a single star bright enough to remain visible despite all the artificial lights. ISO 1600, 1/2s, f/4.0, 25mm of 18-55mm | |
