 Not a Cloud in the Sky, Yet a Rainbow Appears Last week, one sunny afternoon, I went to Magic Island in Honolulu to make some photos of surfers. Although there were no clouds in the sky, a rainbow stretched over a large part of Waikiki. Apparently, it was raining in the mountains to the north and the wind blew alot of moisture down over the city. When the bright sun hit the water vapor a rainbow appeared.
