Mini-Surfers

Surfing is not just a sport in Hawaii. It is a way of life for a significant number of people, young and old. I have heard it said that if the surf is up and your boss expects you to be at work, you had better get your priorities in order and get your board. Last week I discovered a location where many locals like to surf. These two young boys were there and moments later jumped from this pier into the ocean and swam out to the waves. On their way to the pier they passed me and asked me if I would take some pictures of them. I obliged and made a couple of photos, of which this is my favorite.
