 Storm Brewing on the North Shore There is plenty of rain in Hawaii - in fact the rainiest place in the world is on the island of Kauai. On Oahu, much of the rain falls on the north shore and in the central mountains. A couple of weeks back I took a trip to the North Shore and caught a rainy day.
