African Tulips

We walked on and quickly came to a large clearing maintained for use by horses and riders. At the far side of the clearing were two vine-covered trees, one of which had african tulips growing in it. The red/orange flowers were well above my head, but close enough to permit a detailed photo with my zoom lens. These flowers are normally found at the tops of trees, perhaps 30 to 40 feet from the ground. This time I was lucky enough to find them growing about ten or twelve feet from the ground.
