![]() 5:30AM - Tropical Showers Soak the Streets One of the pleasant things about Hawaii is that many of the rain showers occur at night or before dawn in the morning. I happened to be up at 5:30AM this morning (on a Saturday, go figure) and caught a heavy downpour. The rain water came down hard, soaked everything, and washed across the street in several low spots. By 9:00AM the skies were mostly blue and the sun was shining. It sure is convenient to water the plants before most of us are out and about for the day.
