 Wind in the Palms This photo was made shortly before sunset at Kapiolani Park in Waikiki. The late afternoon light highlighted the graceful fronds, which in turn cast shadows on the underbrush. A brisk wind rustled through the palms, giving the scene a pleasant sound (which, unfortunately, I can't duplicate for you). I prefer the black and white version over the color image because the shape and detail of the palm fronds is more evident with this treatment. ISO 200, 1/800s, f/5.6, 300mm of 70-300mm | |
