 Into the Ko'olau Mountains This photo shows a tunnel and Highway 3 curving into a valley in the Ko'olau Mountains. Out of site, and further into the valley another tunnel penetrates the mountain, coming out on the Honolulu side of the mountains. This image was made from the Kaneohe side of the range. The adjacent two posts show the view from the tunnel (not the small one shown here) inside the mountain and the view of the Pacific Ocean from H3 when emerging from the tunnel and approaching the curve in the highway (shown in this photo).
