moored

An Addiction at Rest

The sailboat 'Addiction' is moored for the night in this image from the habor at Honolulu. With the last light of day and a cargo vessel on the horizon this setting caught my eye. I like the light on the security fence and the sailboat and in the water. If you look carefully to the right side of the photo you will see lights on Magic Island and beyond them, the faint house lights in neighborhoods that stretch up the slopes west of Honolulu. No one was at the dock but me. Being alone with my camera in this setting was a particularly peaceful experience.
