 Welcome to the Rain Forest Oahu, like all of the Hawaiian Islands, has various micro-climates. One side of the island may be very dry and savannah-like, while another is a rain forest. This image is an example of the latter, with vine-draped tree trunks sharing space with lush bushes and trees. The dense growth barely lets light shine through.
