![]() Afternoon Sunlight This view can be found in the Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park on Chain of Craters Road, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The image was made in mid-afternoon when sunlight struck ocean waters but had not yet reached shore. A few minutes later the sky cleared and the rest of the afternoon was bright and beautiful. Just behind the foreground plants are some of the black volcano rocks so widespread in the park. This area was a mixture of lava and plants. ISO 100, 1/80s, f/22.0, 55mm of 18-55mm | |
