 Akaka Falls After leaving Kohala Mountain we traveled to Hilo, on the east side of the island where we visited Akaka Falls. There's a short hike through the rain forest to a ravine where the waterfall is located. A slightly smaller waterfall (not pictured) is also located in the same area.
