 Sculpture and Vase This still life composition is intended to repeat the curve of the woman's shoulders in the curve of the black vase. The image was difficult for me to convert from the color version of the photo because the background was much lighter originally and contained verticle blinds. I ended up using the lasso tool to layer the background and made a levels adjustment. First time I have done it this way as near as I can recall. There is still room for improvement cleaning up the image. Does anyone have any better ways of darkening only a background? | |
