 Stairway on a Turret This stairway is part of a turret on an old building located a small block from the docks in Honolulu. It's a commercial building, but has no sign posted at this entrance, so I am unsure of its current use. This image was made about 45 minutes before sundown on a cloudy day, which accounts for the muted shadows. I like simplicity in photos and the minimalist opportunity presented by the door, window and stairway appeals to me. The texture of the walls was an added bonus. ...And, of course, the abstract form created by the lines of the stairway is the feature that most appeals to me.
