![]() Window on Hotel Street If you know anything about Honolulu, you know something about Hotel Street. Once the bawdiest section of town, one of the prime spots for sailors to come ashore looking for entertainment, Hotel Street is now the site of a 'buses only' street that retains some of its early architectural character even as it slowly merges with the city around it. This image captures a window with metal shutters and hinges above a corregated metal awning over the sidewalk. It's in rough repair, typical of that section of Hotel Street, but has a distinctive character with its own brand of charm. ISO 100, 1/100s, f/13.0, 70mm of 70-300mm | |
