 Adrift The sight of a surfboard adrift in the ocean suggests loss. Where is the surfer? Why is the board casting about aimlessly? In this case the board belonged to a lifeguard - the word in the red banner says 'rescue'. When I made this image the lifeguard was nowhere to be seen. Moments later he broke through the surface of the water, having been submerged, probably looking at tropical fish that swim in these waters. ISO 400, 1/400s, f/20.0, e.c. -1, 300mm of 70-300mm | |
