![]() Bananas for Sale While walking through Chinatown recently I noticed a group of bananas hanging from a metal rod in front of a fruit and vegetables shop. Since I like to make photos of ordinary stuff from time to time I succumbed to the temptation to do it again. So what do you think of when you think of bananas? On a short list of attributes you'ld probably think 'yellow'. So naturally, I did a black and white conversion using a technique I read about a few weeks back. (I could post the color version tomorrow - the price sign is bright green and goes nicely with the yellow bananas, but one photo of bananas may already be one too many.) Who else but photographers, artists, and store clerks spend this much time with bananas? ISO 100, 1/50s, f/4.0, e.c. 0, 70mm of 70-300mm | |
