Vase

I have been experimenting with Photoshop again (obviously), exploring the abstract qualities of photography and the impact color has in the image. I frequently use this vase from my living room because it is a common item that is not especially interesting itself, so as to focus attention on the processing rather than the object. Part of the pleasure of having a photoblog is to be able to post a straight-forward photo one day and an abstract one the next.

ISO 100, 1/10s, f/32.0, e.c. -1, 44mm of 18-55mm
