![]() Touching Safety This image was the product of a fleeting opportunity, an unavoidable hurdle, and a good angle. My home overlooks a small pool where children occasionally swim. Recently I happened to look out the window and saw a young swimmer playing in the water. She apparently did not want to put her face in the water, which made for an awkward swimming style. I quickly got my camera in time to take one photo as she touched the edge of the pool and finished for the day. The 'hurdle' was the fact that this image had to be shot through a window which made the photo a bit blurry to begin with. I did what I could to sharpen her face, but this is the best I could manage. Given the processing, though, I don't think it is a problem. | |
