 Air Force Thunderbirds This week marks the 60th anniversary of the creation of the U.S. Air Force following World War II. The Air Force Thunderbirds put on several air shows this week to commemorate the occasion. This image is one among many I made from the lanai of my home as they flew over Waikiki. It was a chance to use a fast ISO and continuous shooting drive mode on my camera, as well as an opportunity to see some very fast airplanes up close.
