Aggravation

Ever seen an aggravated turtle? This one tried to climb on a boulder which was just below the water line, only to get stuck because the curvature of the rock caused his shell to be hung up too high for his feet to reach the stone. After flailing away for awhile he pulled his head above the water line and gave me this scowl. The tide was coming in, so he only had to wait ten minutes or so for the water to lift him off the stone. I was perhaps twenty feet away, standing along the shore, patiently waiting for him to lift his head out of the water. After viewing the photo in photoshop it appears that his right eye is in pretty tough shape.
