![]() Houston, the Eagle has Landed O.K. I guess this isn't actually a lunar orbiter. But it has some similarities, enough to put the thought in my mind. Only one sun worshipper can be seen on this stretch of beach, making the lifeguard's job pretty easy. The weather was perfect. The beach is in Honolulu. The photo was made on November 10, a Saturday. So why weren't there more people at this stretch of beach? There are a lot of beaches, in every direction, and not a lot of tourists in November, I guess. Nearer the hotels there is more activity, but if you want some isolation, this stretch of beach will do. It's pretty nice for the locals all year round.
