![]() Fire! This evening a fire broke out in a high rise building in Honolulu. This collage of three prints shows the flames in the window (upper right) at about the time the fire department arrived with several trucks. Shortly thereafter, the flames engulfed the unit (left) which was approximately eleven stories from ground level (the left photo was shot from the seventh floor of a neighboring building). Fire fighters deployed their trucks (lower right) and fought the fire from within the building. Communications between the ground crew and fire fighters in the building could be heard the whole time. Other than smoke damage, it appears that only this one unit suffered destruction by flames.
