 Celebrating the Year of the Rat This weekend marks the beginning of the Chinese New Year, the year of the rat 2008. Last night, Honolulu's Chinatown was in full celebration, with streets blocked off for the event. This image shows a portion of the lion dance performed at the Chinese Cultural Plaza, a favorite part of the evening.
