 Golden Light This image was made late one afternoon in December on the north shore of Oahu, near Haleiwa. A dense layer of clouds moved into the bay causing the sunset light to be diffused and making the whole sky golden. This photo has not been saturated in PS; the sky was lit up pretty much this way for about ten minutes as the sun set behind the mountains. You can barely see the shore line and trees that lie just beyond the line of breaking waves. The mountains behind the trees are completely blocked by the clouds and refracted sunlight.
