withering

Withering

This image was made outside. The light source is sunlight reflecting off water in the harbor at Honolulu. The light kept moving with the current, so it was trial and error to come up with an interesting combination of dried plants and light. The dark background is the surface of the water. I was shooting down from above the plant at about a 45 degree angle with the surface of the water (which is not apparent from the photo).
