Rust and Corrosion

This macro is a detail from a contemporary totem pole sculpture in downtown Honolulu. The sculpture is probably ten to fifteen feet high. This detail come from a portion of the pole located at approximately eye level. Another, and in some respects better, view of the same sculpture can be seen at Lure of Light. We went on a joint photo shoot and although we both shot the same pole our images are very different. By the way, you might want to visit Lure of Light because the photos there are first rate.
